Bahraini anti-regime protesters have once again staged rallies in the capital Manama despite a recent ban on all opposition protests and public gatherings.

The angry protesters took to the streets in support of political prisoners being held in jails, including opposition leader Hassan Mushaima.

The family of Mushaima says he is gravely ill and needs immediate medical attention.

Senior Bahraini cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim said the Al Khalifa regime has denied treatment of Mushaima in jail despite his “frightening” health condition.

Bahraini security forces used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators in Manama.

The recent demonstration comes after Bahrain’s Interior Ministry imposed a ban on all protests and gatherings across the country and cited anti-regime demonstrations as repeated abuse of the rights to freedom of speech and expression.

“All rallies and gatherings have been suspended and no public activity will be allowed until security and…

NAZARETH, (PIC)– An Israeli leftist organization has revealed that the Israeli occupation authority was planning to build two new settlement outposts in the West Bank within the few coming months.

“Peace Now” movement said in a statement on Wednesday that Jewish settlers had already started to install caravans and extend electricity and water lines to the outpost to the north west of Ramallah while another similar outpost was built near Qalqilia.

The head of settlements council Danny Dayan claimed that both outposts were only new suburbs to be added to the established settlements in both areas.

The Israeli civil administration said that it was aware of the plan to build new settlement outposts in the West Bank for the first time in seven years and would investigate it.

More than 340000 Jewish settlers live in settlements built on Palestinian land in the West…

RAMALLAH, (PIC)– An Israeli Court acquitted, Tuesday, an Israeli soldier who shot and killed Ahmad Mousa, 10, during a nonviolent protest against the Annexation Wall in Ni’lin village, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah in 2008, despite his confession that he fired two bullets at the child.

The incident took place in July of 2008, the soldier shot the child in the head leading to instant death. During his court testimony, the soldier said that “not firing back at those who hurl stones at the army is considered weakness; therefore, I opened fire”.

The Judge claimed that “There was no proof that the bullets fired by the soldier were the cause of the death of the child,” despite the fact that she acknowledged that the soldier opened fire using live ammunition while his life was not in danger.

Nor·mal·i·za·tion: a “colonization of the mind” whereby the oppressed subject comes to believe that the oppressor’s reality is the only “normal” reality…and that the oppression is a fact of life that must be coped with.

Those who engage in normalization either ignore this oppression, or accept it as the status quo that can be lived with.

In an attempt to whitewash its violations of international law and human rights, Israel attempts to re-brand itself or present itself as “normal” — even “enlightened” — through an intricate array of relations and activities encompassing hi-tech, cultural, legal, LGBT and other realms.

Normalization applies to relationships that convey a misleading or deceptive image of normalcy, symmetry…

By Clare M. Lopez, Former 20 years CIA –

Data points continue to accumulate about the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libyao. The picture that is beginning to emerge from connecting those dots is deeply concerning on multiple levels. Two related issues dominate this analysis: The systematic stripping of security protection from the Benghazi mission prior to the 9/11 anniversary attack and the cold-blooded refusal to send or even permit local help the night of the attack.

As Fox News Bureau Chief of Intelligence Catherine Herridge suggested on the “Mike Huckabee” show on Oct. 27, both of these critical subjects may have been driven by a perceived need to cover up the likely purpose for the existence of that mission in the first place, i.e., to serve as a U.S. command hub for the movement of weapons out of Libya to Syrian rebels fighting…

A 7.7 Earthquake hit the coast of British Columbia on Saturday night, and there has since been as many as 40 aftershocks today. Including one that measured 6.4 in magnitude. The quake sent many residents on the coast, fleeing for higher ground due to tsunami warnings. That where issued as far away as Hawaii.

The Earthquake originated on the island of Haida Gwaii, other wise know as the Queen Charlotte Islands region. The islands are located along the Queen Charlotte Fault, which is an active transform fault that produces significant earthquakes every 3–30 years. (the last major one happening in 1949, that measure 8.1 in magnitude)

As soon as I caught the news of this quake today, the first thing that came to mind was. Wasn’t Haida Gwaii recently in the news?…LINK
