Zionist Entity’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a secret meeting in Jordan with King Abdullah II, the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi daily reported on Wednesday.

The paper, without specifying when the meeting took place, only said it was “kept a secret.”

According to the report, which has yet to be confirmed by Zionist officials, the meeting focused on the possibility that Syrian President Bashar Assad would use chemical weapons in the ongoing conflict raging in Syria.

The newspaper quoted a Jordanian official as saying that the reason for the secrecy is that “Israel’s presence in any official, regional or international meeting meant to change the balance of power in Syria, actually hinders such brainstorming.”

The report further said that the Zionist entity is trying to promote “an unpopular scenario” of a surprise offensive on Assad’s arsenal of chemical weapons, in order to destroy it.

Silver Lining

by Philip Giraldi, source

There has been considerable debate over who “won” the recent fighting in and around Gaza, though the question itself might lack relevancy as both sides have largely returned to the status quo ante. Hamas has indeed proven itself capable of resisting Israel and has gained the respect of its Arab neighbors while its political opponent Fatah has again looked weak and vacillating. That many of the frequently homemade Gazan rockets were able to penetrate Israeli defenses and even strike near Tel Aviv is also being promoted by some as a game changer, but in reality the actual impact was more psychological than lethal. Israel blinked because it had become clear that there were no real military targets remaining in Gaza and only civilians, many of them children, were being killed. Continuing the air assault or initiating a ground invasion would only lead to a major public…

GAZA, (PIC)– The Israeli naval forces detained on Thursday two Palestinian fishermen off the coast of the Gaza Strip and seized their boat.

Nizar Ayyash, head of the Gaza fishermen’s syndicate, said in a press statement that an Israeli naval ship intercepted on Thursday at noon, a Palestinian fishing boat carrying two brothers, Salim and Hassan al-Nu’man, then arrested them and took their boat to the port of Ashdod, north of the Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday, Israeli occupation naval forces opened fire on a Palestinian fishing boat in the Gaza Sea, then detained the six fishermen on board.

The detention of the fishermen is a new Israeli violation of the recent truce agreement to be added to the series occupation violations; including killing a Palestinian citizen, injuring more than thirty others in the southern Gaza Strip…

Besides stating the obvious about an unfair war, and about the slaughter of the Palestinian people, I have to say that I don’t care that much this time about the attack in Gaza. I am quite certain that nothing can come out of it that could benefit neither the Israeli nor the Palestinian people.

There is absolutely no possibility that Israel would attempt to recapture Gaza. On the contrary, such conflicts only strengthen militants like Hamas. There is also no possibility that the Palestinians could gain something out of this conflict. Hamas’ blind rockets can never push Israel to a retreat, and definitely do not help them towards Israelis accepting a possible Independent Palestinian state.

The whole conflict looks like a political game by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. With this war “Bibi” is attempting to strengthen himself ahead of January’s elections in Israel, just like Ehud Olmert did in December 2008, before his scandals chocked him up.

What else can be expected from Israel’s worst ever leader. He’s a serial lawbreaker. He deplores democratic values. His contempt for non-Jews is palpable. He calls Palestinians sub-humans. It shows in how he treats them.

Under international law, Israeli settlements are illegal. Fourth Geneva’s Article 49 states, “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.”

Moreover, in July 2004, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled:

“Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, are illegal and an obstacle to peace and to economic and social development.” In addition, they’ve “been established in breach of international law” on sovereign Palestinian territory.

Netanyahu, past Israeli leaders, and current officials ignore what they’re obligated to obey. On October 23, Haaretz published a Reuters report headlined “Netanyahu pledges Israel will continue building…
